Aurorosi Warriors and Familiars

Designs for an advanced Neanderthal race in my fictional world of Forlorn. Basically my own dark fantasy rpg project.

The northern most region of Lyrimidia is cut off from the rest of the continent by a vast, perilous mountain range that reaches coast to coast. Here it's as if time has gone backward and primeval creatures room the land. Auroros is the name of this land, and it's people, the Aurorosi are just of one of its many denizens. They are masters of animancy, or life magic, and have very close connections to nature. They rarely, if ever, have contact with anybody to the south.
